i see this more as a positive song bc of the chorus. it seems more like he's saying that you should take whatever life throws at you. "fall with no trace to lie permanently" seems to suggest that even though you're falling you shouldn't assume that you'll die (lie permanently) and instead take nothing for granted and take everything as it comes and make the best out of it. maybe i'm just being way too philosophical and reading into this way too much, but it doesnt matter because the song is still absolutely phenomenal--def my fave on this album. he's really a mastermind when it comes to writing beatiful pieces of music. |

just like the rest of you, i think this is one of the best coldplay songs. definitely the saddesy/mellow on the new album. i saw them in boston a few weeks ago and it was the best show i have ever been to. i have been an avid fan since the release of parachutes and have waited three years to see them so its no wonder that the show was amazing. this is the perfect song to cry to over a lost relationship, or you can go with almost any other coldplay song. :) and had to break it to you fadingthekisses but there are rumors going around that this will be the last coldplay album. in an interview they said that they weren't even planning on doing an album after parachutes because they had no ideas for new songs and the only reason why they wrote this one is because they had 9/11 as an inspiration. i really hope that they do at least one or two more albums because they are one of the few bands that no matter what they come up with, it is going to be absolutely amazing. i know that i'll be leeping my fingers crossed because they are easily the best thing on the music scene right now. (in my opinion that is) |

i've got something to say. heathyr, you're a dumbass. talk about being closeminded and shallow and stereotyping people, when you just did the same thing. and why do you even give a fuck about concerts not being able to come to your city if you dont wanna go see them anyway. and this to everyone, if you dont like the song the just fuck off. maybe you should learn to appreciate the fact that everyone has different tastes. and plus, i'm sorry but i dont think i'm gonna see dashboard or nirvana taking over a fucking street with their own bus and eighteen wheelers. (if you dont know what i'm talking about then watch mtv some time.) so anyway, just fuck off and let people do what they like to do. |
