I just saw Rufio live w/ Millencolin on the 8th and this song really is soooo much better live. When these guys perform it's like they seriously put their all into every song. Rufio is a very energetic band and the "God?" at the beginning is pretty funny. |

i've played this song for numerous people and they all laugh at his voice... then the second time they listen to it they hear the words... and of course they are speechless. conor is a lyrical genius, same as dylan or bowie, he seems so wise beyond his mere 23 years. he is a beauty to behold, and to hear. |

ya, it's kinda funny how big tbs got all of a sudden, since i have been an avid fan for a while, but hey, this is so true, if you were offered 4 mil you wouldn't jus say "no thanks i want to stay poor and i don't want anyone but my friends to hear my music..." you would take it, just like AAR did... they are 2 of my fav bands.
oh and here is the 'real' definition' of selling out : A band has been talented for a long time playing the same style of music they always have until they are signed to a big label... THEN they change their image. their sound. their words. that is selling out. they change everything they were to conform to the society they think they should belong in. for example : no doubt. just listen to tragic kingdom and you will see what i mean. |
