this was one of many really good songs that was put on a cd for me by my boyfriend when i went away to college...everytime i hear it though, i get more and more addicted it to. the words describe our situation right now exactly, and i just really get all emotional and all that junk when i hear it. but incubus has a habit of writing really beautiful songs... |

personally, i think on a wire is really a great album. i can understand some peoples viewpoints if theyre not into anything acoustic, b/c this certainly isnt like typical get up kids. but i really dig the acoustic stuff, so i was really happy with the album, and especially this song. the words make me think of being abandoned by someone and the way theyre feeling and how bad it hurts. once again, the get up kids have impressed me:o) |

i have never heard a song that has hit me in the way that this one has. when i left for college, my boyfriend tony made me a double disc with all these different songs on it, and this was one of them. the words are so beautiful and at the same time painful. but just knowing who it came from and listening to the lyrics made me want to cry and smile all at the same time. to me, it just is about telling somebody their importance, espeically if you feel that they're unaware of it. i just love this song alot, and the way i was able to hear this song for the first time just makes it all the better. |

even though this song has a morbid sound to it, it's such a catchy song. and when youre in one of those "i hate myself moods" you can put it and do two things: hear a song you can relate to, and hear an upbeat sound that will cheer you up. this is why i love saves the day in the first place |

i heard this song when i bought "Living Tomorrow Today...A Benefit for Ty Cambra" and immediately, i loved it. of course, i love EVERY alk3 song, but the lyrics to this one were especially good the first time through. any emo fan should definitely check these guys out, b/c although they may seem a little more rough around the edges, the lyrics are so awesome. |
