i dont think its eally religious...
Schism may indeed mean a split in an organization/a split in the Christian church. But i think perhaps he just used the word out of correct context, its done all the time. I think he's altered the definition on his own and used it just to simply mean "split" or "destruction" of a strong bond and relationship between "something" (church, two people, ect) |

I think its about a girl who is changing in a negative way, or has stopped caring about themselves because they think they're nothing. The guy is watching her fall apart and is trying to save her because he sees her as so much more then she sees herself. He's been there, and he doesnt want her in the same place he is. |

Its about control and insecurity and selfhate. He needs someone to make him feel like he has power, he needs something that can take his mind completely away from himself and reality and into another world, he needs something that can "bring him closer to god". He finds his control and his everything in a woman, who lets him have complete control over her, so she takes away his "isolations, hate, absence of faith" and she gives him what he needs. |

i dont think he meant it to simply mean christianity is nonesense. I think he's meaning religion in general, is just used to keep people in line. Its just used to brainwash people into being "good" so they dont commit "sins". Also about how religion, chrisitianity the most, is hypocritical. "Thou shall not kill", yet we involve ourselves in so many wars in the name of religion and god. Its basically him picking an example of the worlds ignorance, and elaborting and magnifying it. |
