I agree with SisterRay because it sounds like its about Jimi Hendrix. "He played it left hand, but he made it too far." Jimi Hendrix came from nothing to everything and made it too far. He got into drugs and overdosed. Ziggy Stardust can easily relate to Hendrix. "He took it all too far but boy could he play guitar" Same thing. |

How could this song be about the manson family murders if it was written before. It is a song about an amusement park. Not that big of a deal. Charles Manson was a psycho. They found "Helter Skelter" written in blood on the house walls. The Beatles however are no blame for the crime. |

"Amy Hit The Atmosphere, caught herself a rocket ride out of this gutter, and she's never coming back I fear." Mandalor, that could be right but it's a website, it's not a 100% positive. We don't even know if Adam even said that. Anyways, I think that she killed herself, she caught herself a rocket ride is saying she left the planet up to heaven. You need a "rocket" to get to heaven, you also need to hit the atmosphere. He's saying she got herself out of the gutter by killing herself and metaphorically speaking of course, on a rocket ride. Maybe she didn't kill herself but she died and left the life she didn't want to live. It's hard to explain but i think i did alright. |
