i agree.. i can listen to every song on this cd so many times and not get tired of it! and the video IS awesome... its so artistic! "inspired by the one-minute sculptures of erwin wurm"... i looked for something on the internet about him but i couldnt really find any of his sculptures... anyone know?? well anyway- the lyrics to this song (and all the songs on by the way) are so amazing. it seems like they dont mean anything, but you know that they must mean something. so, it makes you think. at least it does for me. i especially like the part where it says: "Kick start the golden generator Sweet talk but don't intimidate her Can't stop the gods from engineering Feel no need for any interfering Your image in the dictionary This life is more than ordinary" and "Can't stop the spirits when they need you This life is more than just a read thru" its just so true... i love it! |

| oooh my GOSH! this is BY FAR my favorite song on this album. its so different... just whenever i hear that guitar i cant help but smile.. sounds really corny but ya know its true! i love the red hot chili peppers so much.. and its even better when a band can try something totally different from what they usually do.. so anyway.. i love this song! | |

| i love this song... i love this whole cd! and all of no doubts other stuff besides rock steady... but anyway! im in an acting class and we needed to bring in music to reflect our characters, and i brought this song. the girl's dad died when she was young, and she wants to be in a broadway show but her uncle won't let her audition. This song seemed perfect for her. | |
