me personally.....I hate preps just because they are not natural and full of themselves......but I say that the majority of people that can relate to this song......come on guys get over it and get rid of all your anger.....I used to be just like you.....until I told myself that there was no fucking way I could change the way things are....anger like that is not right.....I have been through my own share of shit....but your problems aren't there fault.....they are yours.....and there is life beyond highschool.....and that life doesn't give a fuck whether you were a goth or a prep.....but they do care whether you are a psychotic fuckhead who wants to kill everyone.......blatantly obvious......but my thoughts just the same.... |

this song has an awesome sound and a message that one definetely must delve to hear.....This song is a message through the eyes of the doers.....and it does prove how sick our society is.....go kill a bunch of people and you'll become famous....more along the lines of infamous......but troubled mines care naught what type their recognizition is......and rock on, masterofpuppets80, I hear you loud and clear.... |

There are many ways to see the meaning of this song....but the truth is we are not the character so therefore we can only assume what he means by his songs.....it took me a while to see what Jese meant by Redeemer being about the girl with the violin....but I suppose I can see it that way when told that that is what it is suppose to represent....but this song can take on many different meanings with many different characters....since we are all individuals and interpret things differently than one another....we can only say what we think and listen with a patient ear to those around us.....I see that it could be about Marius, and Akasha...but not so much Jesse because, as Eternal Darkness said, the song was written before he ever met Jesse...but when taken in that context it could mean that that would be impossible for that to be Akasha....because although he had drunk her blood when he was young...he wasn't given the challenge of killing her.....so that leaves only Marius to be the logical character......but it could also be that this is simply a song for a movie and Jon wrote it because he was given a meaning, and then was asked to make a song out of that meaning......maybe this is just one instance where we are not meant to analyze....I don't like to think so....because analyzation brings faith and mystery into our hearts....and without that, I personally would feel dead inside...... nunc per ludum dorsum nudum fero tui sceleris.

this song speaks to me moreso than any song that I have ever heard before.....the entire song describes my life/lives.....either literally or metaphorically.....the one line that keeps me going and has finally made me see....'You see I cannot be forsaken, because I'm not the only one' ......when I have felt that I would be discarded because of the things that I am.....I think about those words and realize that there is on possible way that I am the only one that believes and thinks as I do....and it comforts me.... |
