I always heard it as being about getting involved with underage girls. "Me and Julio" being grown men, hanging out at the school yard picking up girls. I always figured Rosie, Queen of Corona, was one such girl. You know how sometimes towns will have local parades for one reason or another, and crown some lucky high school senior queen of the parade? I figured it was something like that, indicating that she was old enough to be willing, just not legal, Mama Pajama saw one or the other of them being intimate with her daughter and called the cops, and that's why Papa Pajama has such a vendetta against him. Before the cops find him, he's gotta split town and go hit on underage girls elsewhere, although he doesn't know where. This explanation doesn't explain the radical preach or being on the cover of Newsweek, but that's the story I always heard. |
