i'm glad there's others out there who think Mae are amazing. i saw them last week with Elliott at The Middle East in Cambridge Mass. and they were amazing. the music is so beautiful and the lyrics are as well, always with a sparkle of hope somewhere in the lines...just increddible. |

i don't know about anyone else, and please don't hate me for saying this because i love NFG just as much as ever, but i think the lyrical content of their songs has kinda gone downhill since "Nothing Gold Can Stay" and "It's All About The Girls" i mean they still have some good lyrics, but the complexity and emotion just doesn't seem the same. maybe it's me, who knows :) |

i know what StarsAreForever means, last summer i saw blink and NFG twice together, and NFG was soooo good, better than blink even. jordan and crew certainly knew how to play a live show, putting all their emotion into it was so much better than blink's cheesy antics. |

this is an awesome song, not only because it's by the ataris, but because the song seems to be somewhat based on my favorite book "The Catcher In the Rye" by JD Salinger. I think the last three lines in the song/book mean that once you tell someone something, you have a connection with them, and if you have to someday leave them, you're gonna miss them alot more. I don't know, that's just what i got from it, i could be wrong. whatever the significance of those lines, it's still a beautiful song! |
