| Starsailor – She Just Wept Lyrics

My girlfriend just broke up with me after 3 and a half years. We had survived that whole time in a long distance relationship; both of us went to different universities. Every line in this song hits the mark pretty close to our situation.
"I knew who she was, but not anymore"
This can easily happen in long distance relationships. "She just cried to the ruins of time that kept us apart" We sometimes went more than a month without seeing each other at all. "She was put to the test, those that she loved, she had learned to detest" I made the mistake of asking too much from her. I put her to the test by expecting her to make time for me when she was 200 miles away and had the pressures of college all around her. I think she finally couldn't take it anymore and learned to detest me. "My life is good, My love's a mess" To me this says that no matter how good your life is, when you lose the love of your life, nothing else matters much. "Daddy I've got nothing left, what can I do that's for the best?" For me, this could be a cry for help to your earthly father or a spiritual father. I want to do whatever I can to set things right. Anyway, it is very emotional and does make me cry. I love this song. |

| Project 86 – Independence Lyrics

This is my favorite Project 86 song and no one has commented! It gives independence a negative meaning. It's talking about the fact that we all need God, and people who think they can get by independent from Him will be undone.
There's a lot to be taken from this song, actually. |

I think the lyrics are wrong here..."allies" should be "alloys". I don't know it's been a while since I've read the lyrics from this cd. |

Definitely my favorite Project 86 song. It's basically about the struggle against evil. How sin can put you in a stalemate but finding Jesus, "the one who has adopted my ailment my sickness...", has made him recognize his sinfullness |

| Chevelle – Long Lyrics

Great song! This is one of the only Chevelle songs that is openly christian. My favorite part of the song is "And the rhyme you've hidden in, wont keep long" Hardly any if not all of Chevelle's songs don't really rhyme. I think this song is a message to anyone who listens to 'anti-God' music. |
