Why are people talking about wether they like the song or not and having a go at eachother all the time on this site. It's supposed to be about telling people what a song means to you and sharing that feeling when you hear a song you can relate to with other people. What ever happened to that?
To me the start of this song seems like a setting to a girl filming her first ever porn film and she is a bit scared. Then it has a sort of religious speech. This song to me is saying don;t judge a book by the cover. No matter what your profession is or how you look, you could be a completley different person underneath.
the last minute i think is saying that the girl goes through a lot and sees a lot of strange things but she is still true to her own beliefs.
By the way, what happened to the deftones. I still really like them and they're still one of my favs but their music doesn't move me like it used to. Anyone else feel the same way? |

To me this song is about when you have a fight with your partner adn you both storm off feeling satisfied that you've said what you've heeded to say. But then after a while and no communication, all you can think about is them, so u appologize and work things out in a calm matter and everything is alright again and you give it another try. In situations like this i think the world could be ending and all you would still think about is your partner and sometimes you may go to friend of family for comfort and still you think about your partner. In the end though it all works out and everything is alright.

It more than likely is about sex, but to me a song means what you think it means, what it means to you or amkes you feel. It could be that jon has this sex habbit that he hates, therefor the song is about something you hate that you can't deny or cure. To me, it could also be about bieng a really low, ugly persong and have to make fun of someone lower than you to make yourself feel better, althought it only make you feels worse inside. Just a thought. |

I think the song is about death, hence the title. The "beast" is the fear and once death came, all the fear is gone. "Soon as you came in, all the beast went away" and its the same with the agony verse. Also i think the chorus is about devices made too keep us alive such as oxygen hoses etc. "The ropes hang to keep us all awake". I am guessing it is about someone who is in agony and just wants out.

Depth! you all talk about depth as if Slipknot is the deepest and most meaningful band ever. Tool has more meaning, depth and knowledge than slipknot could ever have, i like slipknot just fine but, listen to some more bands, like deftones or RATM before you talk about depth, most of their stuff is about the same. |
