This song seems to be about religious backsliding... it talks about how he hammers the nails into Jesus' hands and tries to avoid what he knows he needs when in the end, he longs soo much for what Jesus has for him.... eh, whatever it means, the song is freakin amazing and one of the best I've heard from them in a long time... rock on. |

Wow, I first heard this song about two or three years ago when my brother brought home some unreleased live Dashboard tunes and the chorus caught me... all of a sudden it's a HUGE hit and all of a sudden the nerdy, awkward boy is a big star and adored by soo many... this song seems kinda sweet and also a little mischievous that they're "doing nothing at all" but staying quiet so they can "get some"... hehehe, man that is soo dumb.... oh well... good song, sad following |

Damn, I HAVE A RECORD PLAYER!! The song is catchy and the reference to Double Dare on the acoustic version kicks ass... their lyrics are from the heart and realistic, but I wouldn't venture to call them emo... they're pop punk, no doubt. Another good song worth putting on a mix tape. |

David Bazan has had some pretty s****y experiences in life. Music is an outlet to vent those things a person regrets and I think this song, though unacceptable in a traditional Christian mind, is the epitomy of emotion. This song is hilarious because it's all about gettin some. This new ep is very different because Chris is more commercialized... I can already see a difference from the first album.
