This seems to be from a view point someone being forced to put on a device or undergoing a good ol' brain washing and "rearranging peoples lives" maybe putting in memories that previously werent there. | Just a thought but if the orange light proclaims himself a god possibly it is religon that is running the ships off course and into the shore. Maybe the brianwashing of some extreme religon groups and how they attract more and more ships (the ships are multiplying day by day) maybe the evacuating of the light post significes the down fall of the religon group. Ferret 85 I think your on to something I was originally more for the look through an insane mans eyes perspective but other lyrics support your ideas too. "who can believe you"- Your peers dont believe in what your fighting for "let your mother pray"- obviously ppl are worried about what is going to happen. The russian roulette part-He's going to take a risk and join the cause. "I got a gun the other day from sako"- Him joining the cause. "My girl, you know, she lashes out at me sometimes, And I just kick her, and then she's O.K. ,she's O.K. People are always chasing me down, Trying to push my face to the ground, Where all they really want to do, Is suck out my mother fucking brains, my brains" - He is having relationship problems and being oppressed because of his beliefs The End Part (Which I wont post due to length)- Possibly insanity sets in for being constantly doubted oppressed etc. or maybe an interigation room (as in the video) if he was captured by the enemy. |

My Interpretation of the song is what happens after death. "Know, You never think you know why" -You really dont know what happens after life until you get there despite your religous beliefs "Books all say different things while people flap their yellow wings" -Not to sure about this one possibly different religons trying to explain the after-life maybe people flapping their yellow wings is them going with the flock or deciding to join a group who believes in a certain persons preachings. "sheep that ran off from the herd may be dead but now's a bird able to fly able to die able to break your cursed earth (I believe thats wrong sounds more like fuck the mother's heart /shrug)" -The sheep is dead and now realizes whats on the other side of the "city of the walls" which is the physical existence of life. "Don't ever try to fly, unless you leave your body on the other side, Never try to die," -Dont trust what people tell you about what happens after death there's no real proof, if there isnt except life for what it is dont try to die just to figure out whats next Thats how I interpret it at least. |
