Sounds like this song is about drugs, though I'm not sure what drugs. Perhaps a combination. At first he says he's rolling, which is a term for X, but later he goes on to describe feeling as though he's sinking into the bed and can see beautiful washes of pulsating color. That sounds like LSD or shrooms, while the "sleep paralyzed" and "your body is asleep and your mind is awake" sounds like a DXM (cough syrup) trip. |

I think it's about a person recovering from a hard time in their life, and then coming to realize that now that they are better the world expects them to change if they want to fit in it.
