I like the lyrics to this song, despite the many typos in the lyrics. I can identify with it, and I think that it speaks for many people who feel like they don't belong, and hate the masses for the way they ridicule people and spurn others. |

This song has really cool lyrics. I'll have to dl it, just to see what the music is like. But I like how it seems to talk about persecution, and the evils of prejudice. |

This is incredible song, done so well by Shirley as always. It was performed on Buffy, and by the lyrics it's clear that it's the perfect song for a supernaturally themed show. |

| Tori Amos – '97 Bonnie and Clyde (Eminem cover) Lyrics

This song is seriously creepy. I can't even imagine listening to the Eminem version without getting extremely repulsed and mortified. I was listening to the Strange Girls CD, and this popped on, and I just sat there, fixated by the as one viewer put it, bone-chilling lyrics that kept coming into my ears. It's almost sickening that Eminem could write this song and make it popular and an almost even inspiring song. I'm personally very glad Tori remade it to show people how horrific the scene it describes really is, and I think the effect she created is extremely emotionally vivid. My dislike for Eminem has grown progressively with the knowledge that it was he who originally wrote this song. |

My friend recommended this song to me, and it intrigued me enough to make me download other songs by this awesome band. Though very rarely do I run into someone who actually knows who they are, Brand New is a great example of what pop punk band should sound like. |

This is such a sad song--but sooo good. Deep, moving, and thought provoking, yet set to the typical Good Charlotte beat that makes it just a tad bit eerie. One of their bests, in my opinion. |

Nightingale is such an awesome song...Norah Jones has an incredible voice. In listening to her, I can just imagine the darkened coffee house and the jazz performers before her...she's soft in her vocals, but the music is hard enough to be interesting. |

"Hand-cuffed in the present tense
Variations in your violence
Mind games and pretty girls
A cracked song in the universe
I think it's time that I showed you what I'm made of"
Yeah...that about sums it up. And that's not even the only good part of the song! Wow...just a REALLY good song. |

Wow...vintage Garbage! Dog New Tricks has some of the coolest lyrics ever. My favorite part would have to be the lines "I wish I had not woke up today
Everyone mistakes the things you say
Take the simple truth and
Twist it all around
Make it sound important
Make it seem profound." The beat is also driving, which suits the lyrics really well.

Wow...can't you just see every neurotic fantasy book tragic heroine in this song? It reminds me of a lot of the plots in books I've read...of a girl driven so past beyond her breaking point she just snaps. Really quite a sad song.. |

One of my favorite NFG songs ever, I was so sad to learn it wasn't on the Sticks and Stones CD...*sighs* It is a sad song, but NFG sings it in such an upbeat way that it's not too depressing. |

Possibly one of my favorite Garbage songs ever...I really love this verse, especially:
"It's okay to be afraid of what's inside another mind
An invitation to discover and explore the other side
It's okay to be afraid of finding out you really care
Like a hammer crashing down between the clouds out of the air"
It sort of reminds me of someone who is apathetic and afraid to care, and then the person Shirley is singing as trying to reassure them that it'll be OK in the end. |

I love this song...upon hearing it, my only other experience with the Lawrence Arms had been Navigating the Windward Passage. I was definitely pleasantly surprised by this piece of romantic beauty! |
