| Incubus – Summer Romance (Anti-Gravity Love Song) Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| First time I heard this song, it gave me a mental picture of a young Brandon planning on a tryst with a girl that he liked... it gives off the feeling of the joys of young love in summer camp. secretly meeting during forbidden hours ("We rendezvous at quarter-two, and make sure we're alone"), the pre-adolescent behavior ("So I call you on the tin can phone") and that flighty, delirious feeling that only first love can give ("I may have found a way for you and I to finally fly free")... very innocent, portrays the simplest and purest kind of love. This is one of my favorite songs ever. I love it. | |
