This song reminds me of my grandmother that died 10 years ago. She was my best friend, and I never got to say goodbye to her the night she passed away. I knew right away this song meant something special to me, but it took a while to catch what exactly it was. When I finally realized it was about her to me, I started crying. It has helped me a lot with finally accepting her death, too. I was also a big fan of Snot, and saw them as a next Nirvana, they could have started big things. Thank you to Clint Lowery & Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust for writing this song, it helped me through a tough time. And R.I.P. to my Grandmother and Lynn Strait, you are both loved and missed dearly. |

For a long time, I hated my father, because I never knew him. I've gotten to know him a lot in the past couple years, and we have a good relationship now. But, this song has always meant a lot to me for that reason. |
