i totally agree with rossesi, but i also think its about how not conformity in his past years has now become conformity("once u wanted revolution, now you're the institution")

i got to meet the guy via friends at the music hall, and he took the time to talk to my friend and i for 45 mins. the show was amazing, just him and his piano, very personal, and everybody was singing along

the imagery is great, as if almost all of his songs, and it always puts me in a good mood

Coldplay – In My Place Lyrics 23 years ago
the beauty of the song is that it can be looked at from many angles, which is true with almost all songs, and that i just keeps you guessing, even if the band releases what the song is about, i know im still not sure what it means

Rufio – One Slow Dance Lyrics 23 years ago
this song reminds me of the untouchable girl, the one everybody wants, but nobody has the balls to ask out, so you just sit at home day dreaming about what it would be like to have her

just my 2 cents

Taking Back Sunday – You Know How I Do Lyrics 23 years ago
to me the song is about how drugs are some people's escape, anybody that's done them (including alcohol) should see some kind of relationship there

Thursday – Understanding In A Car Crash Lyrics 23 years ago
at his concerts, he simply tells the crowd that the song is about losing a dear friend of theirs and how the song is a tribute to this person, he then states they in no way wrote the song to make money or get noticed, and that the song can be interpreted in many different ways

its truly a beautiful song that we can all relate to, and for anybody that has dissagreed with somebody else's interpretation, i don't think that you truly understand what music is about, it's universal, and there's no right and there's no wrong.
