| Michael Tolcher – Mission Responsible Lyrics | 21 years ago |

Another great song by Tolcher. Although, I was kind of bummed that he replaced the "rap" part from the demo with the "take a look all around you" part. Anyways, this song is simply about taking charge of your life. :-) |

| Michael Tolcher – Sooner Or Later Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
This has always been one of my favorite songs by tolcher. It; so easy to relate to it. Basically, I feel this song is about going ahead and trying things on your own, regardless of what others might say and then learning from your own mistakes. Also, as Michael's said, it's about knowing that no matter what happens, everything will turn out all right in the end. |

| Michael Tolcher – Bad Habits Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| At Michael's shows he's always saying how "this song is about blaming yourself for your problems but not beating yourself up for them." | |
| Edwin McCain – Through The Floor Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
This is definately one of my favorite songs by Edwin. I remember reading somewhere that while the band was recording their "Misguided Roses" cd they rented a basement apartment below the apartment of a lady with a brain tumor. She was told that the surgery needed to remove it could be fatal but she decided to go through with it anyways and she ended up survivng. After that she decided to dedicate the rest of her life to helping others. Now back to Edwin and the song--Whenever the band would rehearse their music in the basement the lady would sit in a chair and listen to the music through the floor. When the band finished the album and moved out of that apartment Edwin wrote a song about this lady. |

| Edwin McCain – Ghosts Of Jackson Square Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Don't remember the whole story behind this song but I know Edwin said something about visitng his saxophonist, Craig Sheild's in New Orleans. While hw was there he saw 2 homeless people having sex in a doorway and decided to make a song out of it. | |
| Edwin McCain – Go Be Young Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
Another great song by Edwin. To me this song basically means enjoy your youth and don't grow up quicker than you have to, You're only young once--go out and have some fun in your life. |

| Edwin McCain – Do Your Thing Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
This song rocks! I feel this song is about doing what you want to do and not letting other people stop you. "You can't buy back the time So stop and love And dance and live And laugh until you cry Don't wake up to realize that Your time has passed you by ~Live your life the way you want to and enjoy it. You don't wanna look back on your life and realize you wasted your life and you didn't enjoy it as much you could've |

| Edwin McCain – Radio Star Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
Edwin has said that this is actually a sarcastic song about how Rock Stars are always complaining about there problems and saying hoiw they signed a bad contract and all this other crap. I think Edwin also said he wrote this song when he was watching The Goo goo Dolls on Behind the Music. So none of the stuff he says is true about himself, meaning his dad never beat him and he's not gay..... This song is awesome and it's hilarious when Edwin perfroms it in concert :-D |

| Sister Hazel – Running Through The Fields (for Jeffrey) Lyrics | 23 years ago |
|
Ken Block (the lead singer of Sister Hzazel) had a younger brother named Jeffrey and Jeff got cancer and eventually died from it. Ken wrote this song about Jeff and how much he loved his younger brother and how much Jeff meant to him. And what's really sweet about this song is at the end Ken says "Peace little Brother" Whenever I hear this song I feel like crying. |
