too bad amo, amare means "to like, love" and amo is first person singular present tense so it translates to "the girl who i love is beautiful". for it to be "the beautiful girl who i knew" you would need the verb for "to know" and it would have to be translated in the perfect tense. theres your crash course in latin :o) but yeah this is one of my favorite bright eyes songs it is so beautiful |

oh by the way, coheed is so amazing. when i saw them live a couple of months ago i even got to talk to claudio for a while while watching another band and a friend of mine got the drummers drumsticks. it was a great show, claudio even played his guitar with his tongue. whee! |

tobyendstoday... moron. you, my friend, seem to be wrong about emo. emo is short for emotionally charged, and may i ask you, what is music without emotion? it is nothing. so therefore, anything that evokes an emotion in you is, by definition, emo. and yes, they may not sound like dashboard confessional or another stereotype of emo, but they are emo. and rock. and god knows what else. everyone needs to chill about this emo thing, its so dumb. |

Conor Oberst is my god, I want to make pretty pretty babies with him. A Perfect Sonnet is definately my favorite Bright Eyes song, hence my username. I think Conor is lyrically and musically ingenius, in both Bright Eyes and Desaparecidos. I can't wait to see him live in May, it's sure to be an amazing night. |

marching2x2, i think when they say 'youve got a funny way of showing off your bathroom surgery' he doesnt literally mean humorous funny, and if you dont show off being a cutter or whatever, why would you write that whole post about it? whatever. this is a great song, probobly my favorite by the trio. i dont know though, i really like enjoy your day and the metro as well. |
