| RA – Do You Call My Name Lyrics | 22 years ago |

The whole cd is awsome. it grows on you. main reason is because its different. and that "different" is a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of the crap out there. ive come to love RA and they remind me somewhat of trapt. Both bands have their most popular songs as the front-runner but to me, both cds have their best songs AFTER those first songs. Do you call my name is fukkin great song but their are songs on the cd that i like better. as for trapt, headstrong to me is the worse song on the cd even tho its good. sorry for the stray but just comparing |

| i see a lot of people say that rob's bass playing is influencial to the band when in actuallity, he didn't even record the bass part on the album. he did on the dvd but the bass you hear on the cd is bob rocks. rob wasnt even a part of the band yet when this was recorded. even then hes not really adding much different than bob did. | |
| Metallica – St. Anger Lyrics | 22 years ago |

better_than_you The line "I'm madly in anger with you" is just a clever way of saying the complete opposite of "I'm madly in love with you." Sounds aquard but its just a better way of saying the overly used cliche of "I hate you". On a side note: Overall, this cd is OK. Just okay. I think Lars must have produced this cd cuz his drums just drownd out everything. I hate that steal-sounding snare and it just covers everything up. I agree the album is heavier than previous album efforts but if metallica is going to have 8 minute songs, they need a classic kirk kick ass solo. Most of the time one cant even tell the guitars apart. i guess i just have to face the fact that metallica will never be as good as they were in their glory days (kill em all, ride the lightning, master of puppets, and justice for all) after those, its all down hill but saint anger is a breath of fresh air and a sign that their heaviness is coming back. it just needed better production and more solos for the long songs. with no solos, the whole cd just sounds like one song. nothing really seperates them. plus the lyrics are more shallow than other albums. but hey, theyre almost all 40 and i guess just really have to face the hard fact that they will never be the metallica that i fell in love with. |

I agree with whiteout completly. i know everybody is entitled to their opinion but some of your opinions about sex and his son are just kinda out of it. astral fits this song completly...and parabol too in that matter. open your third eye people and completly understand tool. www.astralvoyage.com |

whats all this stuff about sex? its about astral projection. astral is where your soul leaves your body for a brief period of time and goes to the astral world where all the souls go when your body dies. its a tough practice but i know tool specializes in this field. third eye and stuff like that are tied into astral too which just like the parabol/parabola video where the guy at the end of the video is astral projecting and has his third eye open. the lyrics too reflect astral..."this body holding me"...all about his body holding his soul in. the whole band of tool has been to the astral world...they specialize in this. some of you need to open your third eye and understand some of this stuff. www.astralvoyage.com |
