i think that comparing everything daryl writes to his chron's disease is fucking stupid.
"to keep my body sober... i show my life for all to see" could very well mean that in order to remain straightedge, he often talks about it or something like that. like his sxe tattoo on his lip or something, he shows it to everyone indirectly. |

I think the song is about a seperation with someone as well. "So wont you go?/ Lie to your love/ Just go" kind of connotes some sort of way he said that if you're not going to seperate from someone, then "who the fuck cares you heartless bitch, just cheat on them" sort of thing.
but it really does sound like a going off to college thing. |
