the album kicks so much ass it's not even funny, i gotta admit i was a little tired of the same sound you get from every punk band out there, so when the changed for this album, they made their own sound that no one else has, and it's absolutely amazing. After listening to blue skies for so long, i was starting to get sick of all the complaining about lost love and all, the whole nostaliga thing is SO much better than that. Anyway, this is by far my fav song in the whole damn world, goonies or no goonies. It makes me think about leaving everything and going on an adventure with your best friends, and having all the fun in the world. If only it was real, right?? |

hell yeah!! i bought this album after i bought sticks and stones, and im suprised that this album is just as good as the new one(I didnt think that anything could be as good as that). This song especially, i love it! The whole thing about the stars coming back really struck me. It's brilliant, these guys are the best out there. It makes be think about my first girlfriend, and "it's over now. you watched me as i turned around" when i walked away from her car... i miss her and all, but it's good to move on and songs like this keep the memories alive. NFG rules! |

emo?? I can't stand the label. i like a lot of "emo"...if that's what you wanna call it. you cant just generalize music into little groups like that. hell, i only heard the word emo for the first time 3 days ago, because i don't watch mtv or any music video anything. I can hear a song on the radio, buy a cd, and test out the band.... that way, i don't have to put up with other people's bitching about what the name of my genre is and who's side i'm on. This song kicks ass, and i don't give a shit what mtv does to DC. i'm in it for the music. THE MUSIC. sitting out on some bridge listening to a song like this and remembering your first girlfriend.... staring at my bedroom ceiling with NFG's "sonny"... shit like that. Screw all you people that feel like you're defending something, just listen to the damn music. Or if you don't like it, keep your mouth shut and make someone else's life a better place by not saying anything. |

Every time someone leaves me, i think of this song. I know its about jordan's gramps dying and all, but it makes me think of my first girlfriend more than anything. we had to leave each other for some wacked out reasons, but i'll always remember "it's better where you're going anyway". The song is so damn beautiful, definately the best track(after the story so far). The guys did an amazing job on this, just like the rest of the album. NFG rules! |

It's awesome! I dont listen to a lot of blink, and personally, i don't liek a lot of their songs because they remind me of what Green Day did. But anyways, obviously they're still capable, they have this song and Adam's song, they totally move me, like i just go off into this other world and listen to greatness. My parents have never divorced, and i never really considered killing myself, i'm a happy guy. But this song is one of the all time greats. only regret that they didnt write a third verse for it... |

I love this song!! Im not even sure about a lot of the meanings to the lyrics, but the music is awesome! it's so peaceful, i could listen to it for the longest time and not get tired of it at all. The lyrics are almost dizzying, they're that good(coulda done without the soy latte thing though, still, who cares???). I'll be listening to this years form now remembering the person that had to leave me, just hooping maybe she'd come back. oh well. GOOD TUNE! |

This song, like so many others on Make Yourself, makes me wanna float away. It's a masterpiece. I love this stuff, when you can picture it all in your head. I love the lyrics in the chorus, "not everyone here is that fucked up and cold"... there are people still out there among all the shit we have to live with. I shout out to them, and again to Incubus. They rock!!! |

"to know that you fel the same/as I do/is a threefold utopian dream" i love that line. I'm a junior in a big high school, and It's just the best when you look at this girl and you think about all the awesome stuff you've been through, and you know that she feels the same way. This is one of the best songs ever by incubus, and it works great when you're on vacation and stuff too. Brandon and the band did a damn good job of catchng those moments and throwing them into a song like this one. |

once again, cerealheadus is totally right, this song rocks soooo much and no one says anything! come on... i got a question though. in Genocide, off smash, they play the same sequence of notes like, during this intro and in genocide's chorus.
