So has there never been an offical comment by the original group or band? Because it just seems this is all speculation and everyone is reading into it how they want to see. Who knows maybe thats what they want, some groups want to create songs that many people can interpret into their own way. Personally I went through the dark and sullen phase and it seems there are way too many sad, somber or ambivalent song and few songs that are joyful and happy unless they are about sex or clubbing or dancing. Also the fact that Shakira chose this song to cover doesn't help either, she often has songs that sway from either sentiment and sometimes has a mixture of both. Their original video doesn't help much, its just the same dance over and over. I'd rather believe its happier version. |
