I love this song.
To me, the words at the end sound like "Thank you John Lennon" - which doesn't make sense if he wrote it and recorded the lyrics.
I like to believe that's what it says because John was amazing and given the chance I would thank him for all he's done for the music industry. |

I heard it's about religion too. I like the way he wrote it though because it doesn't have a preaching kind of tone and can be taken anyway. Works well for someone who's not Christian like myself. Gotta love Lenny! |

There are two different versions - there's the original with the ending lyrics on this page. The version for Apocalypse Now ends with the yelling & some faster beats behind it. There might be some lyrics, I can't remember right now but the two recorded versions are really different (I like the original recording better personally). |

Great song, I listen to it a lot when I'm stressed out. I kind of took it as almost hoping to just run away from life for awhile - the past, the present, the future. Just get away from the everyday frusterations for awhile - some stemming from the past. Just my thoughts! |
