If you look at the labels that signed them for some of their cd's, you'll see their first few CD's were released under tooth and nail, which signs I'm not sure but alot of if not all christian bands... Taking that into account. The song takes a whole different spin. Here is our new disposition. (What we believe) You're a about to understand (You're dead and entering the next stage of reality) Theory is only obvious to the skeptical and at the bitter end(need I say more?) Staring at white page, contents plane to see, turn the page see whats written, its your history (Passing judgement on your life) I have not yet read 1984... I have a copy sitting on my desk though, but I adding the religious idea to the song, it's hard not to find a line in the song that doesn't add up. |

I think the religion aspect of this song is obvious in the title and lyrics, but I always got the feeling this song was more coming from the perspective of an anti-christ or false deity. Zimp, I understand what youre saying religion is away of life and asking why to stay away from it, but think about that, satanism is considered a religion, should we stay away from it? I do not think this song is telling us to stay away from religion, but to be more weary of the religion topic and to think for ourselves instead of sending all our money in to the first tele-evangilist on tv telling you to send it all to him. |

unfortinatly, I agree with the grammaticly challanged punke. This song seems to be about someone he doesn't know but he wants to meet. "And like I really deserve a chance to sit across a table And tell you that i think you're wonderful And I think you're something special " seems to imply he doesn't know her. Though I don't see how he interpreted the song properly with his absence of inteligence and language skills. |

| Okay, I'm gonna take a crack at this. As someone whos been harassed and insulted my entire life I've found a very good interpretation through out the whole song. Listen to this song and think of it as someone singing it to someone who's insulting him repetitivly where it's driving him to the breaking point. Then alot of the song makes sense. The song seems like it's telling someone off who's been trying to offend him for along time. | |
