there's so much great music in the world. it's so hard to pick an all-time favorite song. but this is definately it for me. it makes me cry. but not because of the words - which are beautiful, by the way - but because of the sound. the music. the feeling of it. this song brings back feelings of so many different things. i don't listen to it much but it's constantly running through my head. like it's haunting me. when i listen to it, it's usually on headphones with the volume all the way up and my eyes closed tight. so that the only thing i am experiencing is this song. maybe that makes me crazy. but if so, i don't want to be sane.... |
