I think this song is simply about a person in your life who keeps your whole life in place.. and your world revolves around them. Hence the title. But, to me, personally.. this song reminds me perfectly of the novel "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. Maybe it's just cuz I listened to this song over and over while reading it.. but I think they correlate perfectly.. If you're not going to read the book it's about a girl who's murdered and her view of life from Heaven.. basically she's the roots that sleep beneath her families feet and holds their world in place.. READ IT. |

Yeah.. right before my boyfriend left for his freshman year of college.. this song would make me cry.. cuz it's so true.. "everynight we say goodbye, and everynight you almost cry".. that's so true because it was summer so we were together every night.. and as the end came near it got sadder and sadder.. but yeah.. y'all know that.. good song. |
