X Japan – Desperate Angel Lyrics 23 years ago
My favorite X-Japan song hands down. Art of Life is my second favorite, I have to admit. Why do I love this song so much? It's hide written and it reminds me of his solo music, which I love... And yet it has the flair of X-Japan (and Yoshiki ^.~) The lyrics may not be horribly happy, but the song makes me so happy every time I hear it. RIP hide!

I'm with you on that one, Pink Spider... I was actually very thrilled that I had a choir trip to Anaheim (baka people cancelled it though) ... I was like, "Yay! I stalk Yoshiki while I'm down there." =^_^=

Joni Mitchell – Court And Spark Lyrics 23 years ago
Wow... I can't believe that no one's written about this song O.o Court and Spark has to be one of my favorite albums of all time. I think this song is about a man who changed, he cleaned up his life, and a woman falls in love with him. She's mistrusts him some for his past, but he tries to reassure her that he's changed and that she could change too. And she wants to follow him and believe him, but she can't leave L.A. Who hasn't been in love only to find that there's something holding you back? This song is so true, that is always touches me every time I hear it.

X Japan – Orgasm Lyrics 23 years ago
Yo, LostprophetSkater, wtf is your problem? You know, not everyone speaks English and since this was written by a Japanese person, there's a good chance it might be written Japanese... Or maybe you expected JRocker-Girl to translate it for you? People have lives you know, so maybe if you were so curious to know what it means, maybe you should learn Japanese instead of depending on other people. (Yes, I am learning Japanese.) Oh yeah, and what's with the name calling? Man, that's juvenille. Especially ignorant names like faggot. Seriously, people are just gonna laugh you off when you do that, especially since you're the one who wants to hear about other guys talking about orgasms and sex. So take a chill pill, k? God, where's the mods here when you need them, or is faggot not considered derogitory now a days?

Personally, I like this song, It's not my favorite X-Japan song, but it's good never the less (duh, it's X ^.^)

Pearl Jam – Jeremy Lyrics 23 years ago
Okay, once again I am far too naive for my own good...

ks7702 is 24, and Eddie Vedder is 36 if my math is right. So, it has to be shit. Humanity can be so annoying at times... and I'll leave it at that before I started ranting.

I have let to see the unedited video... still waiting for it to download, but it might take awhile --;;

Obviously, SINnocent, you don't know alot about Tatu so let me inform you. They have a very controlling manager who has them do shocking things. For all we know, they are just acting like lesbians. Besides, who said they aren't bi? To make the assumption that they are lesbians shows that you don't know alot about Tatu and that, since you did assume that, you ruled out the possiblity that they are bi, which sounds rather biphobic to me. So let's not call people dumbasses, k?

As for this song, it rocks! I love the lyrics, music, and the image (of the music video.) I can't wait to get my hands on the single. I really hope they make it big in the US and other countries.

This is such a beautiful song. I'm embarrassed to say when the first time I listened to it and heard the first couple lines of singing, I turned it off, thinking it to be like Voiceless Screaming, only 29 minutes long. (X-Japan may be my favorite band, but I do not like that song... I only like the guitar solos and that's it.) What can I say about this song? I don't feel I can do it justice by anything I will say, so I will just say this: the music is beautiful, the lyrics are beautiful, and Yoshiki is a genius. A talented genius who put so much work into this song. I can't imagine all the work his put into this song, especially the piano solo where there are 2 sets of hands which means he must have recorded it twice... I cannot praise Yoshiki and all the band members and orchestra enough on this work of art.

Pearl Jam – Jeremy Lyrics 23 years ago
First off, let me say, this is one of my favorite songs. I'm a rather new Pearl Jam song, actually, and I'm from Seattle ironically... Secondly, I was on the bottom of the social pyramid at my school. It wasn't that bad for me I guess, though. The kids just said things behind my back (most of the time) about me and said mean things about some of my friends, who teased more often then me to their faces, but it never got to the point that I felt I couldn't cope. I still had friends and I was never truely isolated, just made to feel a little different, you know? It went in cycles, and most of the time I didn't even know that this was not the way things were supposed to be. Not that school is ever an easy time for anyone, but high school has been 50 times better for me. A note on my old school it was 60 kids per a grade, K-8, and I was in the "trouble" class... Anyways, the point of my long ramble, is that I cannot truely understand what Jeremy went threw, or however the hell this song is about, but I can relate. This song brings up a lot of painful emotions in me, and I believe it rings true emotionally...

I am always reluctant to believe whatever I hear on the internet, but I believe you, ks7702... Besides, there are too many differences in the actually Jeremy's situation and the music video for it to make sense... The more I read about him, the more I start to think it wasn't about him, but I could be wrong. It doesn't even sound like Jeremy was an incredibally quiet kid or anything, but I could be inferring too much from what I've read. (And why did they encourage the kids to stay at school after his suicide anyways? I'm no shrink, but I would think that could backfire... At least for me it would...) ks7702, I just think it was rather brave of you to write about such a painful experience, although I know you can't say much.
