Aiight SP fans, this is a Fleetwood Mac remake. Stevie said herself in VH1 Behind the Music herself that she wrote the song after her a Lindsey were having such a hard time in the music business. Their albums weren't doing so well and they were broke. Stevie's dad told her that she maybe needs to give up on the music career and come home a go to school. She gave her music career one more try...and BAM Fleetwood Mac came to be. So the song is about her and the failing of her music career before the success of Fleetwood Mac. There you go...if you don't believe me catch VH1 Behind the Music. But it's still a great cover of the song, and one of the best I've ever heard. |

I agree that the song is about an elderly woman in a small town. She's been there for so long and she runs into someone from her past and they have changed moved on to bigger and better things. She has not and regrets it. But at the same time, it makes a lot of sense that this could be about someone with Alzahimer's. |
