It isn't about Taja being dead, Tuomas writes all the songs. If anyone has ever seen him interviewed, they would notice that he quite a depressed person. The song is about how he sees himself. It might also interest you to know, when Tuomas wrote the lyrics for the Century Child album, many of the other band members and friends were worried about him after they read them. They were afraid that he was going to hurt himself or worse. |

The Carpentar, which is probably my least favourite Nightwish song, is about Jesus Christ, who was raised as a carpentar's son. It is partly for this reason why I do not like it very much. To me, religious songs are very cheap and hollow. Though every other Nightwish song, with the exception of Beauty and the Beast (not of the Beast) is excellent! |

Mordred again. The lines "Everything is out of control" supports the idea that this song is about The Neverending Story, because the world Fantasia was being destroyed by the "nothing" caused by people in the real world abandoning their dreams. |

I have been told by quite a few people, that this song is about The Neverending Story. The chorus "Bright eyes" is refering to the wolf's eyes that were glowing when he is first introduced into the story. The section of the song "Hey mother stubborn, I really hate you" makes this theory very questionable though, since the boy's mother in The Neverending Story, is dead. If any other people have any other information that supports this interpretation, please say so. |

This song is about Adolf Hitler, after he was released from prison, and how he rose in the within the government to become a powerful dictator. It also tells of his downfall. The section that begins with "Still I hear the screams of thousands:" refers to the Jewish people during the time of Christ, and those who were murdered during World War II. |

Mordred and King Authur both fatally wounded each other, but Authur was taken to Avolon and healed, while Mordred was left to die. He was raised by a witch who told him that he must kill his father.
