hell yeah man, this has that awesome bite that Minus The Bear amazingly pulls off without any negative effect to the overall sound of alt/experimental/math rock.
i can not wait for the rest of the album's songs. i think it was a good pair to release.
as for the song, to sum up my interpretation, it's about a man realizing his ex was no good at all and actually seeing [the truth of] what happened to him in a different perspective this time around and he can finally be content with how things turned out. [the line about being rested] |

what a common misconception you fool... regardless of drugs if your hygiene habits are poor you will be too lazy to bathe! i will, however, somewhat agree with the heroin part. being a former user i'd always be sleeping and would be too lazy.

though you've put together a somewhat eloquent body of text, the tidbit of your character that can be gathered from your writing amazes me, regarding the enjoyment of music anyway... what's the point of knowing the technical aspects of how a song is made or forming a theory to shine a negative light when you are incapable of the basic emotion of being happy [from hearing said song/band/artist]? |

i like to interpret it as the girl is actually addiction. i mean, i also like the convenient it's about a girl/prostitute explanation but, hmm, being an ex-heroin addict, i suppose it's more appealing to me that it's about cocaine and addiction to it only. =\

keep in mind, as with any form of art, you can not discount, disregard, etc. how viewers interpret the piece itself even if the creator them self has established why they created it and what it means because every individual gets a different feeling and meaning from it. get my drift? |

the good thing about any form of art is the viewer's interpretation is never wrong, even if the writer has already established why they wrote it in the first place. you cannot void, disregard, ignore, etc. the feelings each individual has, to a song for this instance.
