My boyfriend and I were talking on AIM and he told me he got a rugburn from when we *fell off the couch* hehe and literally just as he said that, I was looking through Everclear lyrics because I like the stuff I've heard and I found this song. You pull me down to the floor of our apartment/A little while later we are laughing at our carpet burns It was such the perfect moment that I fell in love with this song instantly, and then heard it and it was even better. | Oh man... I have to say (and don't kill me please, hear me out) that what I've heard of the cure i don't really like their sound, but i might have been in a pop-punk mood or one of my other various music moods. But I must say that I am now very much in love with their lyrics. Just reading this song and it almost made me cry. It's really really sad... it seems like they're spending time together and she thinks it's all wonderful, it's all deep love, and he would like to think so but he knows he's drifting from her... No comments??? I think I might have heard this song once lol I'm not sure, I just found it while looking at all the Lagwagon songs... but I think this song has amazing lyrics! It's practically killing this guy, he wanted forever to tell this girl how much he likes (loves?) her but never could, and then he finally does... I think it's a great description. Like when he does tell her: "So now you know where i come from my secret's come undone my heart revealed my cause i'm lying naked at your feet don't crush the heart that bleeds take me at my word, it may sound absurd but i want you..." It sounds just like how someone reacts after telling someone that they like them for the first time. Really creeped out and feeling a bit stupid but the only thing they want is to be accepted... this is a great song!! |

Aww... well this song seems to be about a guy who came up to his girlfriend's house really late at night and basically asked her to run away with him... to just leave and go off on their own and not worry about anything but each other... I think it's a beautiful song. "If I'm wrong Let me know Do you think I should go? But before you give an answer Think of somewhere you'd rather be..." He's worried about overwhelming her or something, but really wants her to come with him... ahhhh I love this song hehe |

Saw U.I.D. at Warped this summer, and they kicked ass, as we could expect from them ;-) "run through the dreams we ever had nothing can divide us everything can change except from what we want except from how we want except from what we want except from how we are bond" To me this means that he's in a great, trusting, friend-and-more relationship, and that they can get through anything together. The middle part though, about the memories from his past, makes me think it's a relationship he's reflecting on? But the rest is present tense... Don't listen to me, just enjoy the song hehe |

I just saw this song looking through lyrics and all of a sudden I had to hear it. Unfortunately my only success was an acoustic version, but woooooow it's great anyway... "Tonight Just stay with me, I don't wanna go home Outta sight Tonight So rescue me, I don't wanna go" Gorgeous lyrics, in my opinion (and keep in mind I'm not great at analyzing) it's about a period of time... a week, a month, a summer, a year, that this guy spent with a girl, and now it's over and he just wants to go back and do it all again, and he just wants to be with her again, just like he was before. Great lyrics :-D I almost saw these guys but they cancelled because of poor Scott and his damned neighbor... |

Well... what can I say about this song... I think it's a beautiful song, I've played it 128 times on WMP, and many more on CD, and I am still not even close to sick of it. As for the comment prompt ("What does this song mean to you?")... Well I could go on for hours about that, but I guess I'll just say I sang it with my best guy friend the night of Warped Tour, and we've been singing it since, and we're more than that, so... "Will you be my best friend If I offer you my heart? Cause it's already yours" is one of the most gorgeous lyrics ever written. This is my first comment here, too! Yay for me! Yeah ok. |
