why can't you just stop talking about 9/11 all the time? none of these songs has anything to do with that one specific incident because SOAD can't have known about it Of course you can interpret anything you like and if people think they have to say "it's about 9/11" about 50 % of them go ahead but it sucks!! |

anyone ever noticed the melody of "drugs" is played in 'pulp fiction' where they sit in that diner or whatever sometime before(?) that famous dance part? Check it out! Since pulp fiction has a lot to do with drugs (especially the part with that woman) it's pretty clever... |

probably this won't help much in the way of the meaning, I don't know, but I think the shakespeare's weed has nothing to do with it. I think they mean that Shakespeare is so admired and he's so famous for his works but there are many people who believe that Will never wrote all that but Christopher Marlowe (another writer and friend of his) did. they do have some proof for that theory and hints from shakespear himself. so there you get the plagiarized-existence-writers-of-the-word-thing. PS: I love that part where he laughs and then does that grunt, sounds like Steve Urkel |

if you look on www.systemofadown.com somewhere in the bio shavo actually says he used to be very religious and pray every day but lost faith in that and now believes in his own god. the 'we will fight the heathens' thing isn't really THEM saying that but, like, ironic cuz of the masses of people killed for religious reasons. at least I figure it's like that. I don't think their totally athiests but they don't believe in God the way the church or the bible tells us to... that crap has killed and hurt too many people in the past. |
