i will say they did make more like... icky kinda songs that r gross. but they r damn funny. and its not like they didnt use to i mean one of my favorite blink songs is ben wah balls and its about a guy that dates his daughter.... but yah lyrically they are pretty much the same but im pretty sure we wont hear any more songs of how broke they are =D |

same here the breaker of my heart (kim) well she dated MY BEST FRIEND so.... I cried myself to sleep listening to morbid death metal (thank god i found punk) if it werent for punk i think id be crazy by now. anyway if i had this song to listen to man it sure would have been a lot easier. personally the music sounds the same to me, learn to play guitar and play their new stuff on a shitty set up and it sounds like their old stuff does. I do think they try to appeal to mainstream more but when didnt they? they havent changed so who cares. also they were better with scott he made the drumming so so clean and perfect like travis, he should have stayed with the aquabats |

did any of you actually listen to them then? geez well with this song i think its about gwen steffani. self explanitory. its a good song too dont get me wrong it could use better cord progression but back then tom wasnt that good yet =D and with new blink its exactly the same as the old stuff they just have better equipment making it sound clean. same cords in all their songs anyway. i mean look at reckless abandon, and the wendy clear.... this song means to me that he my have fallen in love witha friend and was afraid to tell her because he didnt want to ruin the relationship. then once he does tell her I would assume she rejects him saying "we are too good of friends to ruin this" when all he wants is her love. or thats how I feel anyway. Well this song to me is almost an anthem of my broken friendship with a friend of mine for 3 years. I told her how I felt and now its ruined. |
