First, what is a Christian band? Is it even defined in a book? As far as I know, it isn't. A Christian band is what you think it is. Perhaps they sing about Christian stuff, but I don't feel that they would be locked to that. Perhaps the members are all Christian. You could say they are a human being band, because there are all human beings in the band. Second, I don't even know if they are all Christian, so I am not personally going to call them a Christian band, but if they were, it would make NO difference to me. The genre/class of a band shouldn't define if the band is good or not. It's ability to play musically should. It's genre/class should just be used to tell others who don't know what they sound like relate to them.
Why did Chris leave FSF anyway? |

Nightingales are nocturnal, I wonder if that means anything. I am also wondering why their subjects have sackels. I think that the Kindom is him. Yeah! He wants to search in himself until he finds what this girl will want. It isn't some location that he wants he to be happy with, he wants her to be happy with him. Since the kindom is him, then the servents would be his feelings and actions. Once they were together, he could let them free, "sigh at the release as their shackles hit the ground." |

This song explains how guys feel like exactly. Or at least me. The mood strikes you at any time, and all you can think about and want is sex. You want it now. It even more exciting when it in public. Before sex, he tells her what in his head, that he wants it, then after sex he tells her whats in his head, that she is the most beautiful thing ever. Lyrics don't mean everything in the song, the other band members have feelings too. The music clearly changes mood, after sex. Nothing is more beautiful to me then the naked body of a women. *sigh* |

I used to think that this song was a good song, a happy song. But I have listened to it a lot over the year that I have had this CD and come to see that it probably isn't a happy song. Chris clearly loves a girl, that is apparent, but I don't think that the girl loves him. The start of the song sets up a pretty unhappy mood, with words like "seep down" and "bitter." The night clearly isn't a good night, and he says if he was King of that night, would this girl become his queen. He tired to get this girl and failed. His failure plumets him into a dark and lonely world, a place that he feels he has been so often that he probably could be king of that place. If the girl loved him back, as much as he loved her, then she would be fine with where they were, he wouldn't have to go search for "the ground deserving of [her] feet." He would be willing for her to walk on him, but she wouldn't do it, she would help him up. If she loved him. He nows sees that she doesn't love him and has bitterness towards that. Hence the slight sarcasm. I feel the start of the song describes how he feels, the middle describes what he would do and sacrafice to feel differently, and then end describes what chris wants to happen. But that is the most beautiful things about songs, we make them into how we feel. I feel like how I think this song is. I always love girls that don't love me back. I have yet to meet a girl that appreciates my gifts, my compliments, my love. Sometimes I feel very bitter about that. |
