alright i dont know how i got into here but while im here i would just like to say.. (dont want to piss any of you people off, i know you are all intiteld to your own opinions and if you didnt want to hear or peoples opinoins then you shouldnt be at this site) but what i was trying to say is that from most of the punk songs ive heard all of them lack actually "emotion" or "feeling", i just dont think people can express themselfs through punk the same way you can through other types of music except rap. rap is shit. but sorry if i pissed anyone off. c-ya later |

most of you people that posted shit are stupid! who put up those damn lyrics anyways? i guess if u really listen you could THINK thats what hes saying, but if u have ever been to a korn concert or seen a live video of this song then u will definently notice that what he is singing is just simply random shit off the top of his head. im not possitive but i would almost garentee those lyrics at the top of this page are not really what hes trying to say. my take on this song is about a relationship he had with someone and hes really really sonfussed and he doesnt know what to say or how to act so he really doesnt say anything (or in words atleast) and the "twist" his about his significant other changing and twisting her personality or feelings. but dont listen to me. thats just what i feel when i listen to this song and i know differnt ppl feel diff. things so thats cool. later |

amazing song! as are all tool songs. i really like this song alot! one of tools best (if its even possible to pick a "best", since every single one of tool's songs are great) any way incase you didnt know a parabola is a math figure shall we say that is symetrical and kinda looks like a U. anyway since its symetrical both sides are equal. i think this song is about having 2 parts to your life. the life with your body, and the other life being your spiritual life. the line "Feeling eternal, all this Pain is an illusion" i think maynard (the king) is trying to say that in the end we are all eternal and the pain that we feel in life isnt really real because it will soon go away and we will have no pain. anyway thats just my take on the song and i know everyone has there own interpritation. so if you agree with what i just said then awsome but if you dont thats fine too. later. long live tool!

i agree with SilentAenima. but have any of you heard Mudvaynes new single off their new cd yet?? its amazing!! its called Not Falling. i heard they wernt supossed to air for a little longer but im from peoria which is also where mudvayne is from so im guessing some radio stations already got a hold of their stuff. but i could be wrong. im not the smartest of people. either way mudvayne is possibly one of the best bands ever in my opinion. |

L B's first cd was kick ass! then significant other came out and atleast half the tracks kicked ass! it was alot of rap but i could handle it. then chocolate starfish came out. what the fuck?! that cd is terrible (minus it'll be ok) that is the only song on the entire cd that actually has a meaning!! |

very very amazing song! every aspect of it is brilliant! i think music could mean whatever u want it to mean but after wacthing the video it looks to me like this guys girlfriend has a mis- carage or whatever and the baby dies. because u can see her holding her stomach right before she falls. and i think the song is about him lying there holding his girlfriend and he feels helpless and hes just watching a life die right before his eyes and theres nothing he can do. o well. thats what i think atleast. either way, this song is amazing!! |

excellent job kerplinko! thats preety close to what i think too. the lyrics are really confusing and i think the song could mean alot of things. it seems like hes really confused and he doesnt know what to think or how to react. it almost sounds like he has 2 personalitys and when he says "And I need to shed my skin, reveal this monolith within" i think hes saying that he needs to expose the "real" person inside of him. and as for the verses it sounds like he does things that he either cant remember doing or cant beleive he did. i think this song is just one big cry to rid himself of the side of himself that he hates. who really knows? music is open for interpretation, so this song along with any other could mean whatever the hell you want it to mean to you |

first off this is a really great song! will probably get old sooner or later but it still kicks ass! i think this song is about going through a really hard time in your life and everyone is there tying to help you get through it but your just like "fuck it" "leave me alone! i dont need you, i can get though it on my own" and even if u cant then you can atleast except it. but thats just my opinion |
