I'm thinking this song is about a schitzophrenic or someone else that is afflicted by mental illness as they keep hearing things in their head. That's where I'm feeling the 'frantic-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tock' line...the person is a ticking time bomb that's about to explode at any moment. Go ahead...say that I'm full of shit, but that's how I see it. |

I agree with quiffporn in the fact that we have become arrogant to the point where we (as Americans) think we rule the world and should force our ways on everyone whether they like it or not. (You motherfucker you’re so narrow minded / So narrow minded) I also have to give a nod to JakeDrummer for bringing up the verse...I looked it up and indeed that's what it says. As for the part where David brings up the "modern messiah," this is definitely influenced by his Jewish roots as they still believe that the Messiah hasn't arrived yet (or may never come). |

This song is about the destuction of the Earth as a whole, not just its lifeforms. (Silence speaks louder than words / Ignore the guilt and take your turn) People, 'specially corporations will ignore environmental reprecussions for their own interests, even more so if it involves money or prestige. |

How could anyone degrade this band by comparing them to NFG and Blink?!? This song is way too fucking cool! Even if it does sound a little like this pop-punk(I like to call it pseudo-punk) that I hate, the lyrics and the way the singer sounds like he's longing for the girl surely make up for it! |

Thank you FuckedUpRockerGirl...you really said it. I betcha he secretly listens to Slipknot and won't tell us. Fuck him...he's just jealous cause of the popularity of bands like Seether and such. Anyway, check out the Bio section on Seether.com...it says that Fine Again had a deep impact on a family who had a daughter O/D on something. I can definitely see the tones of someone struggling with an addiction problem in this song...all you have to do is look at the first verse. (It seems like everyday's the same / And I'm left to discover on my own / It seems like everything is gray / And there's no color to behold...) This is one of the few songs I'll sing along to no matter what or who tells me that I suck at singing. |
