Might be about epilepsy. When I hear this song, with its peculiar "pang" sound of the drums, I visualize an old Lithuanian acquaintance jogging clumsily in a short circle. Although from what I hear there was no third party involved in the Curtis relationship, I always thought that love usually breaks up relationships, e.g. when one in a couple meets another, and then this new love/attraction/crush will break up the old relationship. This is my favorite lyric not only from KC but ever. There seems not to be hidden meanings but plain perception of life as something ominous.
