The first bright eyes song i heard was 'Sunrise, Sunset', my brother downloaded it and played it to me. I only heard about 20seconds of it and decided i didn't like it, but later when i listened to it properly i realised how great it was, and since then bright eyes is probably my favourite band, the lyrics are great, the music's awesome, and you can just feel the passion that Connor Oberst feels in these songs |

I think the line is definatley "jesus you are always around" but he kind of says 'round, rather than around, so i can see the confusion, the song makes a lot more sense if it is "jesus you are always around". I think it's pretty obvious what the songs about, "all along the road" the road being life, "you lift us higher", it's about his life being enriched by religion. i think |

This song is pure greatness, the bit about the house of cards is pure genius. I really wanted see Thursday at the Reading festival this summer, but i didn't get to go, i was pissed off. But i heard there set at about 2 in the morning on a radio show, and they sounded fucking awesome. Every one I know who went to the Reading festival are twat, none of them bothered to see Thursday, Finch, The Get Up Kids, Promise Ring, Death Cab For Cutie or Dashboard Confessional while they were there, they all just wanted to see Nofx, bloody tossers |
