To me it reminds me of my ex bf and the last night we were together before we broke up. This is a great song and it means different things to me. I think this song is about a relationship that lasted way too long. That the guy and girl both made msitakes in the relationship, but the girl looked down on the guy and treated him like crap. It's not like you to say sorry I was waiting on a different story This is basically saying that she always thought she was better than him, and it was always his fault for everything, she always made up excuses for everything. Then she finally said she was sorry, but it was too late because the relationship was already over and it couldn't be fixed. This time I'm mistaken For handing you a heart worth breakin' I've been wrong, I've been down This part is saying that he handed her his heart, and trusted her not to break it and she did. He is sorry that he trusted her so much by handing her his heart and she broke it. He is also saying that he has made mistakes in the relationship, taht it wasn't all his girlfriends fault. But i think that she did treat him like shit, and he didn't realize it. He also did and said things to her, that he shouldn't have said, but it was only cause of what she did to him. He's admitting that he has made mistakes in the relationship too. Even though he broke up with her, he still loves her, but knows he deserves someone better, someone who will treat him better and not make excuses. She didn't let him be what he wanted to tried to chnage him. When they finally broke up, he relaized hes better off without her. |
