Well for me the meaning of this song is more deep than scarification or anything like that....Linkin Park use to make pictorial representation of the thoughts...For this song, it talks about shyness..... Most people who are shy can't live with it, Shyness can controle their life (i can say it i am shy)...The routine scar are made by the reservedness in front of situation like talk to a woman you use to see but your too scared to say a word...Just watch all the lyrics they all related the shyness and the sickness of being shy. The Chorus say that he wanna cut this part that he can't bear anymore to stop just what is killing him (the shyness) The second stanza say that when the shyness has been contain you feel so free that you could touch angels and now you can be yourself and live like you always wish to live.....free of everything |
