This song is amazing, but unfortunately... these lyrics are far from that. I think some guy just listened to the song and tried to figure out what the words most closely rhymed with. They are definitely wrong in many many ways. |

Rossx, I am not an Avril Lavigne fan... actually, I dislike her quite a bit and agree with much that has been said about her being extremely, well, non-punk. But, I'm afraid I'm going to have to be the one to inform you that you're a complete fucking idiot. Although you do SEEM pretty smart, you know, because you make a valid argument that getting gang raped will usually snap a person into the realization that they are not punk. Brilliant! You moron. Be thankful that murder isn't legal. If it was, your parents probably would have put you down a long time ago for being such an ass. |

Please tell me that when I was reading this comment page, I did NOT see someone compare this band to FATA. It would just ruin my day to know that someone actually wrote that in all seriousness. |

Sorry guys, Saves the Day is definitely emo. The genre has gotten to a point where bands who were not formerly considered such, now are. The term has become more broad since it was first "created" or whatever. Saves the Day definitely falls under that category now. I don't see why everyone hates it being called that anyway. Who cares, it's just a classification. Quit being so whiny. |

I'm sorry, but you are sadly mistaken. Every single person who knows anything about emo whatsoever and isn't weaned on New Found Glory will tell you that SDRE was the very beginning of the style of emo. Emo is also not a style of hardcore. I think you need to check your facts. |

People take themselves too seriously. Look at some of the comments on this page. This song takes their breath away? I don't know about that, guys. One person even claimed that they were "in tears" when they listened to it. If you are in tears because of this song, you have some serious problems. This is a great song, I admit, but I wish people would stop having contests to see who is more touched emotionally by it. It's like everyone is trying to be cool by claiming some sort of heartbreaking tale associated with screamo songs. It's getting really obnoxious. I bet it's only a matter of time before somebody responds to this and says "well, some people just feel the music more than others." Or, "this song just touches some people more than you." Well, to the person who says that: You are an idiot. Grow up. |

Alot of people say that emo was made popular by Sunny Day Real Estate. They were one of the first true emo bands that I know of. You should pick up their first CD, "Diary." Without it you would be better suited dead. It's that good. "The Rising Tide," their last CD, is totally different but is actually one of the best CDs I have ever heard. |

Sweet fucking father in Hell, I didn't know that any being was capable of writing such an awful song. Eshan is obviously trying to harm us wand I pray for his death.

Hey, everyone who's talking about bands changing because of popularity... if a band gets on MTV and becomes popular, they are probably raking in the cash and you should be happy for them. I hate it when people whine and moan about bands they like "becoming popular." If you really liked the band and supported them, you would be glad that they're making themselves more well known. And as for bands changing when they get popular, that's the band's decision. Don't be angry at MTV for changing a band by putting them on TV. Be angry at the band for being so quick and easy to change. |
