his greates solo song to date (april 21) parts of the song seem to make me think that it is about the down fall of the planet, yet people are still just having fun, and ignoring it. |

this song was realeased on the 5 track cd "raygun" in 1997, i think it is about how he is a loser in his own mind. but he used to think it was going to get better, now he just accepted it, and doesen't care. |

| Matthew Good Band – Symbolistic White Walls Lyrics

i think its about how the world is against him, and how is life is turning out wrong, so he is just gonna do nothing. this feeling progresses through the song as it goes from "so now I just sit here and think of meaningful things to say" to "so now I just sit here and think of meaningless things to say" it shows that the world is beating him down.

i don't think this song is about drugs, i think it is about how the "good side", ie: religion, has no answers so he believes and follows an alternative veiw, because he has to buy in to something, and born to kill shows he takes the darker side |

i think this song is about being famous and how it can last for a short period of time. only they are using flying as a metaphor for fame. like when they say "I look down and on the ground Really don't believe it Gravity can pull me from this height" they are saying that it seams like they are invincible but they know they arent when they say "One day we'll come crashing down" |
