Can someone tell me how slipknot blows? The play their own instruments (no GAY drumbeats and entire melodys on a turntable bullshit here, AHEM linkin park). They play hard and dont' sell out, (AHEM, puddle of mudd, staind). They have good lyrics not shitty ones about being depressed and sad cuz mommy didn't give them egnough allowance (P.O.D.). P.O.D. is mexican by the way. Um, and please don't count them out because they have a few extra people in their band, everone is talented. It's true slipknot uses loops and a turntable but just to sound better, it's not the basis of their music like Likin Park, or some of those other gay pop bands. Slipknot has meaningfull lyrics unlike some of the gay, punk, pop, rap, gay rock bullshit out on the radio. If slipknot is so horrible and is so pop, why do they not get any radio play??? NUFF SED. The song is about a guy who has been taking shit off of someone, mabye a friend, mabye an enemie for so long that he has to attack them. At the beginging of the song it describes the anger rising in him with "it's, it's coming out" and then his rage boils over with, "let loose the anger held back too long". Over the course of the song he describes the brutal murder of this other person and then realizes that he has become a sadist of brutalitiy with the line "brutality is my appetite". Overall a very good song with strong words, i could actually picture myself doing this to my girlfriend... er, nevermind. LOL |
