I think that it may have to do with a friend who he is in love with. She is in another relationship and he is worried about her, and thinks she may end up hurt. He does so much for her, and she does alot for him, but he is not in a situation to tell her his concerns and of his love for her. Yeah, but i might have these lyrics fitting how i want them to. |

Okay, so lots of people, or die hard =w= fans at least, hate the green album, but you have to think outside the songs and find out the purpose behind the album. After Pinkerton alot of the fans left, because they didn't understand the album, and general listeners found it kinda weird. So weezer conforms to the trends and makes a pop-y album to gain fans, and then later with maladroit re-establishes the real 'weez', which will be backed by the 5th album. So really, i think the green album rules because it shows weezers versatility, and their geniousness. Besides, better now than a few years down the road, or else they would just come off as being old and needing to regain fans, like some other bands. |
