whoa, whoa, whoa! You're stereotyping Germans now, nazipunksfuckoff! Careful about that... I mean seriously, it almost sounds hypocritical. Most Germans aren't Nazis, and even during and right before WWII, the same was true. But yeah, I saw a guy @ a show about a week and a half ago w/ that shirt. It was so kickass. This song is awesome. I also love how Jello just speaks his mind about what he thinks.

OK, way I take this song is people think they're roughing it in the outdoors (to quote the first line) but really, they have almost all the other modern comodities they're used to, and really aren't roughing it like they think. And that they're being just plain old idiots about the environment. |

This song is pretty cool, the whole sarcastic thing, kinda like the Offspring's Beheaded in a way... I mean, he's not serious, he's more poking fun @ the people that do shit like that... or so that's how I interpret the song. Seems like their style is more to poke fun @ other people to make statements, not make their statements by saying their own stuff... get my drift? I'm not wording this as well as I'd like to be able to. |

Anyway though, this song means a lot to me. When I feel like shit, this song helps me get through it (I have to wallow a bit before I can get into happy music) but the upbeat, faster music really helps. Everyone probably relates to this song @ one point or another |

I absolutely LOVE this song... same kinda meaning as Smash: be yourself, don't be like everyone else. My fave line is "Hey, everybody's supposed to be the same, so how come they're so lame? It's like taking a fall, keep on running back into that wall" That line is probably one of my favorites, ever, even though this song isn't my absolute favorite (it's up there though). AWESOME song. |

Anyway, this song is good, but it's not my fave... hmm... I'm surprised there's so many replies. I don't think their new stuff is crapy though, but I agree, it's not as good as the older stuff... but hopefully their next album will be better than CO1...

This is, I believe, my all time fave Offspring song, and me being the hardcore fan I am, that says a lot. I'm determined that once I actually have the time and determination to learn guitar, I will definately learn this song. It's SO AWESOME!!! Ignition is, in my opinion, their best album. |

Whoa! No one's commented on this song?! Damn... Well, this song is also excellent, and I really relate to it @ times. I think it's one of their better songs (Ignition is my fave album) and I love how Dexter refers to JD Salinger. Helps show that he's educated. |

Although overall I don't think Americana is the best album, it does seem to have some of the best songs on it, but they're paired w/ some of the worst (Pretty Fly, She's Got Issues, you get the drift). But Have You Ever is excellent, and that "have you ever buried your face in your hands..." line I've always related to, along with "have you ever felt like there was more..." and "have you ever been @ some place, recognizing everybody's face..." Excellent lyrics... I love Dexter. Although, does the end make any sense to anyone? I get the rest of the song, how it's about no one understanding who you are, but the whole "crime does pay" thing, well, the band somehow made it fit, but I don't get it, and how it goes along w/ the rest of the song. |

Excellent song. One of my faves, although I don't think anything will beat Dirty Magic. That's gotta be my all time fave Offspring song, and I'm a pretty hardcore fan. |
