I have an acoustic version of this song, and it's just incredible. Brings out his voice more, very pure. Regardless of what it's really about, to me this song epitomizes the beginning of a relationship - when you find someone you just *click* with - and you're ready to do any crazy thing for them, just to make them happy. I'm starting a pretty cross-cultural relationship right now, and I've actually decided that I would be willing to make sacrifices I never before would have considered in my life in order to make things work out with this person. That's what this song means to me - coming to a changing point in your life where you realize that turning things all around won't hurt anything, and that giving it all up for any entity - be it human or celestial - makes sense. |

I love this song. I actually had a few of my co-workers laughing at me while I was bopping along to it at my desk... I can't help it, it's so catchy! I listen to it over and over and over... and sometimes it reminds me of me in former lives, sometimes it's just silliness. Very good song anyways. Almost got to see him, missed the show. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for it in the area. |

My old roomie and I used to play this song over and over and over when we were getting ready to go to the club. It put us in just the right mood and state of mind. I've wanted the lyrics, because some of them are hard to pick up when you're just casually listening... Wow, I didn't realize it was quite so steamy! It's fantastic. |

Okay, so this song came from the Hercules soundrack... it's perfect. It's the song I couldn't get out of my head when I firs met my boyfriend 6 months ago. I even put it on a mix CD I made for him as the last song - before we had determined that we were really a couple. It's the one song he asked about. :) I still often get this stuck in my head. Ugh. It's a great song though, with a very clear message. |

This song was the surprise gift on a fantastic album of angry woman music. It ended things on such a sweet note, I nearly cried when I first heard it. I've felt this way so so many times, and I'm glad she was able to put the feelings into words. It's a great song for mix cd's for boyfriends-to-be... :) |

Yay! I was so happy when I heard Stone Sour was coming out with an album. My fondest memory of DSM was sitting in Kittie's room, listening to Cory play her guitar and sing TV Theme Songs. He has such an amazing voice and is an absolute sweetheart.
As for what this means to me... It reminds me of the feelings I often get as a single mother, not sure what to do next, how to go on. When none of your friends understand what you're going through, or the sacrifices you make. The years of suffering you made it through, and the final separation in search of yourself. And also of that stubborn streak, that makes you decide that to spite everyone else, you're going to make it work, with or without them. |
