i guess some of you see the serious side of the song, as in, maybe he really did hurt people and his actions had serious consequences...i actually see this as a feel-good song because it's about a guy who just lives life and does stupid things every once in a while like the rest of us.

i can't really what this means, although i think she murders her husband...that's just what i get from it anyways. it's a beautiful song and i love SoCo... i sometimes listened to it while i slept and this song is just so beautiful, it's perfect to listen to in the weird time between being asleep and awake.

i absolutely love this song. it's great. i really think eminem puts himself on the line in his songs and this is a perfect example. it probably hurts to put painful memories in the public eye. eminem is super-talented and he's not afraid to be different than the rest, with all that "blingbling, me and my hos" shit that seems to have become the focus of so much rap nowadays. besides, have you ever seen another rapper who would actually dress up as richard simmons or a cactus for a video? this song is really from the heart and i respect eminem for this.

Obviosly I can't really say, "The song means this or that or whatever" because obviously the only true meaning is to the guy who wrote it. As a person recovering from anorexia I can totally relate to the lyrics of this song. I think the lines that really hit home for me are Please die Ana and And your my obsession I love you to the bones for the most part I agree with dashchick about the way in which Daniel contradicts himself. I think the line "Please die Ana" makes sense to me because while i wanted to be normal and happy....the metaphor he uses, giving anorexia a more human name and asking it to die (like a person) reflects on what a horrible thing i thought life would be like without anorexia...as horrible and empty as if someone had died. the line "I love you to the bones" for me has many meanings, firstly, that anorexia makes you thin, like a skeleton. also, that my love for anorexia was a desperate obsession. the third meaning i feel from that line is that anorexia is a killer, and it shows anorexics' and bulimics' fierce discipline, endurance, and determination to hang onto their obsession to the bitter end. luckily for me, my friends and family helped me, but i still felt sometimes that without anorexia i was nothing. dashchick...i hope by now someone is helping you and if they aren't PLEASE take care of yourself, no one can make you feel good about eating but i'd like to point out that if Daniel and I can make it, so can you. you are worth so much more than a statistic of anorexia sufferers in some teenage health pamphlet.
