Hemmingway = Uber awesome author. Suffered from mental illness, killed himself with a shotgun blast. "Hunting" accident. Van Gogh = Uber awesome artist. A deeply, deeply disturbed man later in life. Suffered from epilepsy, and lived in an asylum, where he was tormented by the conditions of the other patients. Cut off his lower earlobe with a razor blade before commiting himself. Though he did make a recovery, one day he just took his easel out to a field, pulled out a revolver, and shot himself in the chest. Albert Camus = Author. Wrote several plays, including "The Plague", and "The Just Assassins". Won a nobel prize, actually. Died in an auto accident, thought to be a suicide. His final works were found in the car with him. Every person mentioned was a genius, who was emotionally disturbed. Pretty much all of them commited suicide, too. It's been awhile since I read Catcher In The Rye, though, so I don't know if Holden offed himself...but I know Salinger is killing himself, just slowly. |

| Okay, kiddies, I know it's been done before, but I think I have to break it down, just a little bit more. The Sex Pistols did NOT create punk. They didn't start a damn thing. They weren't "hxc", they weren't talented, they weren't unique, fuck, they were even real anarchists. They were a pop band, it's that simple. They were, and still are, equal to Simple Plan, and Sum 41. Besides, half of you kiddies don't even know what true punk is. You just say you're punk because it's the cool thing to do. First off, if you were punk, you wouldn't consider yourself so. Punk is about the anticulture, and accepting a label instantly makes you accept the existance of the culture, and once you do that, everything fails apart. Punk isn't about skating boarding, doing drugs, hating preps, or anarchy. Thinking so just makes you stupid. Anarchy can never happen, a lack of government simply isn't possible, nor would it be desired. Face it, you DEPEND on your government for survial. You kids bitch about "The pigs being corrupt motha fuckas", which is true. But I don't really see you bitching about it when they save your ass from being mugged when you walk home from your punk show and piss off the wrong skinhead. I don't see you bitching when a killer is put in jail. I don't see you doing a damn thing but bitch and moan about how much our government sucks. You want to make changes? Good, America's all about that. Get off your ass, stop whining, and do something. Don't call yourself punk just to be cool. Don't call yourself punk at all, it just makes you no better than the "preps"(who by the way, don't exist.) that you claim to hate oh so much. | |

If you don't know what it means..why post? Jello doesn't think the US government sucks either, it's the people he dislikes. "Bleed For Me" basically describes how we take away the rights of the accused simply because they're accused. Guilty until proven innocent. |
